Graduate of The University of North Carolina-Greensboro
Jabreel Brandon is a self-advocate and 2021 graduate of the University North Carolina-Greensboro, Beyond Academics Program. He majored in Integrative Community Studies with a concentration in photography and library systems. While attending UNC-G, he was a manager for the football club and an intern at Greensboro Public Library System. Jabreel loves the arts and is working to develop his craft in photography and performing arts. He believes strongly that visibility in disability is a critical issue that should be addressed in media representation and the general public discourse, and he plans to add his voice to the discussion whenever possible. In doing so, Jabreel hopes that his participation will inspire other young disabled people to lead and join the effort to shift the culture around representations of disabilities.
