Felecia West is a native of Beltsville, Maryland and currently resides in Durham, NC. She attended North Carolina Central University. West has been married for 30 years and has two children, ages 28 and 17. She is employed with the Durham County Department of Social Services as a special assistance in-home social worker. During her 30 years with Durham County Department of Social Services, West has held several positions including mental health social worker, school social worker, and medical social worker.

 

West enjoys walking, working in her yard, and spending time with her family and dog Nova. She plans to retire and to volunteer with children and adults with disabilities.
